Caden and Nana

Texas fun!

I'm down in Texas with Mindy, Adam, and Caden.  Adam had to work, so Mindy, Caden, and I went to the Dallas Zoo!  We had a great time looking at all the animals. 

Caden loved playing in the splash pool.  Nana got in with him too, but only to get her feet wet!

Memorial Day Memories

Ben, Mandi, and Ryker came up for Memorial Day. We were able to head to Ninilchick and do some camping and fishing. The weather was really beautiful for most of the trip.

Ben, Mandi, Rich, and Kevin got out fishing on the boat and came back with 8 nice sized halibut. Of course the boat broke again and it is in the shop...again. 

I got to play with Ryker while they were fishing. What a good baby he is. He is so easy going, hardly cries, loves to smile and even laugh. He is the cutest baby!  Looks like Ben did when he was a baby.

School has ended, and it was another good year in 4th grade.  Our last week we went on a bike trip and a hike up Mile High. 

Kevin in looking forward to a summer of playing with friends and camping trips. He has been working for Eaglewood doing yard work. He also has another yard job for a month and will earn some good money for that.  He is going on a 3 day 24 mile hike up Kesugi Ridge.  Then there is the Gulkana rafting trip, EFY, Youth Conference, and another hike in August. He is really into air soft with his friends. 

Rich is not working and it is really different having him home all day. He seems to keep busy, but I'm not used to having him around all the time.

30th Wedding Anniversary

Today is our 30th wedding anniversary.  It is truly amazing we have made it this far!  We have been blessed with 4 great kids, and now we have 3 beautiful grandchildren, and another one on the way!
